Assisted Living Resident Communication Software That Keeps Residents Informed
SeniorScreens gives assisted living communities a simple way to keep residents informed about what is happening each day.
Activities, menus, announcements, appointments, and schedule changes are part of daily life. Staff already share this information in many ways. However, residents may still want to check it again later.
SeniorScreens gives them one familiar place to do that. It does not replace your clinical, billing, or care management software. Instead, it focuses on resident communication.

Daily Information Should Be Easy to Find
A resident may hear about an activity at breakfast, see a menu near the dining room, or get a reminder from a staff member. Later in the day, they may want to check that information again.
That is where SeniorScreens helps. Residents can check activities, menus, announcements, appointments, news, weather, and other daily information without searching for a paper notice or asking the same question again.
The goal is not to add more technology just for the sake of it. The goal is to make useful information easier for residents to reach when they need it.
Keep Residents Connected From Their Own Room
Assisted living residents may spend part of the day in shared spaces and part of the day in their own rooms. So, important information should not depend on being near a bulletin board or being in the right place at the right time.
SeniorScreens gives residents another way to check what is happening. They can look at the latest information when it is convenient for them.
This can be especially useful later in the day when a resident wants to confirm an activity time, look at a menu again, or check an announcement.
SeniorScreens also supports communities where residents live more independently. See our independent living resident communication page.
Update Once. Keep Residents Informed.
We wanted the process to stay simple. Staff should not need a long list of steps just to change an activity time or post an announcement.
Staff Posts an Update
First, staff add or change an activity, menu, announcement, appointment, or other resident information.
SeniorScreens Updates
Next, the latest information becomes available through the resident communication system.
Residents Check It
Then, residents can check the information when they want to know what is happening.
Resident Communication Software With a Clear Purpose
Assisted living software can mean a lot of things. Some systems handle care plans. Others handle billing, medication, staffing, or clinical records. Those systems have an important job.
SeniorScreens has a different one. Our job is to help residents stay informed about daily life in the community. Because of that, SeniorScreens can work alongside the systems you already use instead of trying to replace them.

Built From Senior Living Experience
My family was in the senior living business for more than 40 years. I grew up around it. So, I saw the day-to-day side of senior living long before I started building software.
Years later, I started using technology to solve communication problems. One of those systems was Recastio. It uses digital displays to share menus, activities, announcements, weather, and other information on TVs. It has also been used in healthcare and senior care settings.
That experience helped shape SeniorScreens. We started with a simple question: how can daily information be easier for residents to reach and easier for staff to keep current?
